Fire Extinguisher Check

Given the number of Wildfires that have occurred across the Western United States in the past few years, homeowner that live near areas of heavy brush and forestry have a strong fear of the “if and when”. One thing we can do to help protect our families, homes and businesses is to have equipment and training that may be useful to stop a fire or at the very least buy some time to escape a fire.

One such tool we are all aware of is the fire extinguisher. Many of us have them in our home, business or automobile however how many of us actually know how to use one? Better yet, when was the last time we checked it to see if it was still active?

Your local fire department can assist you with training on how to properly use a fire extinguisher as well as check them to make sure they will be able to help you in your time of need.
