The Pentagon

No business or commercial building is immune to water damage. Case in point: The Pentagon building. When water pipes located in the basement of the Pentagon burst in the early morning hours of September 11th, 2001, they released a hefty 1.8 million gallons of water over the 565,000 square feet (17 miles) of hallways and office spaces, SERVPRO Professionals responded en masse. With the multitude of franchises teamwork, the dry-out was completed.
Despite the emotions and logistic difficulties involved in the restoration effort, SERVPRO dried nearly 300,000 square feet in addition to providing fire, soot, and smoke cleanup restoration services. Upon completion of the drying assignment, SERVPRO Franchise Professionals provided mold remediation services in other sections of the facility. SERVPRO Franchise Professionals met the challenge and completed the process in just 90 days.
We use the phrase “Faster to Any Sized Disaster” often in these blogs and in our advertisements; we live by the sentiment. 9/11 was a massive event that caused tremendous amounts of damage, but SERVPRO was on scene and ready to assist in any way possible.
If you experience a water, fire, mold, or biohazard loss in your home, SERVPRO of Hesperia / Apple Valley / Barstow / Twentynine Palms is prepared to help to “Make it like it never even happened” 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
