“Hot Blooded”

This commercial office building in Apple Valley, CA experienced a major water loss event after the water heater began leaking. It continued to do so for a full day before the leak was discovered. It damaged much of the floor and the surrounding rubber baseboards. 

The professional water technicians from SERVPRO of Hesperia / Apple Valley removed the baseboards and placed a dehumidifier in the water heater room. Dehumidifiers, or “dehues” for short, work by pulling moisture out of the air. After a few days of monitoring, no moisture was found to be in the walls.
