“Same Mold Story”

After being tested and found positive for mold, this home in Barstow, CA needed some major work done in order to make it inhabitable and safe to be in again. This photo depicts the bathroom. While it appears nothing is wrong on the outside, moisture had built up over an extended period of time behind the walls. This led to mold growth and unsafe conditions.

SERVPRO of Hesperia / Apple Valley performed an initial inspection and discovered moisture behind the walls of the bathroom. After an air sample was confirmed “hot” or positive for mold, our professional technicians removed the walls of the shower to allow the framing behind them to dry out. They then remediated the mold back to healthy levels.
