Oh Hail

Hail is no joke, especially when matched up against a clay tile roof. Just to be clear, the hole in this photo was not caused directly from hail but rather as a result from the tile being broken by hail and rain water compromising the wood decking underneath. The wood began to rot away and eventually collapse from prolonged exposure.

Roof tarps are a quick and simple temporary solution that SERVPRO of Hesperia / Apple Valley offers for the interim period between our initial inspection and reconstruction / patching of the roof. This method is used to prevent further damage from weather or intrusions from critters or insects that my happen upon the opening.
