Interior Water Damage Post Storm
Rainstorms can wreak havoc on older homes, especially when they have not been updated to account for their age. This Apple Valley, CA home experienced bubbling and swelling of the paint after a leak was discovered in the roof. It allowed rain water to travel down into the ceiling above the kitchen, causing the paint to swell up.
SERVPRO of Hesperia / Apple Valley / Barstow / Twentynine Palms removed the affected material and disposed of it before placing drying equipment and reconstructing the ceiling space. It is important to note the method our technicians use to dispose of the drywall. After constructing containments around the work site, we remove the affected material and place it into plastic bags. We tape these bags closed to stop any debris from escaping.
